Hummingbirds and Tulips

HappySpring! The 100 Bulbs are off to a great start after a harsh winter. All the bulbs seem to be even heartier this year! The tulips around the window well are about 3 gnomes high. They seem to be untouched by the bunnies (Bertrum and Beatrice) that live in our backyard.

What do you think of this new hummingbird contraption I picked up from Stein's? It comes will nectar, you just add water. I bought a giant suction cup and stuck it to our kitchen window. Who thinks we will have visitors? The bag is silver and red with a feeder and stand at the bottom. There are little flowers printed on the bag. Will it lure a hummingbird? Stay tuned!

What is more fun than a Bat Mitzvah? Having a wine and champagne flight with a friend from high school! It was a beautiful day and getting some rays was just what we needed!

Did you know that words like "wicked hot" and "wow factor" can be used to determine whether or not a pair of shoes should be purchased? Shoe shopping with Andrea and me is always an adventure! These souls (soles :) are great friends and share a passion for fashion!

Rainy Day in July

What do you do when it rains in July and you can't spend the day at the beach? Go out to lunch with someone you love! The Mr. and I enjoyed a romantic trip to the mall. I feasted on bacon cheeseburger pizza from Rocky's. Yum! Or as Fred Dawson would say, "Smack, smack!" There is no one else I would rather spend a rainy day with... :)
