Time Slipped Away...

Flo's Diner was open this afternoon for merriment, quiche, fruit salad, and stuffed french toast! It was fun seeing big boy, Wyatt walk around the furniture! He isn't a baby anymore. I loved meeting the new little lady in Dave and Liz Cannon's life, Belle. She is an energetic, curious little bundle. We discovered that she enjoys sticks! Good girl Belle for being kind to Wyatt! Can't wait to see you guys again!

Blessedness

Beef got you down? Take a break from your old burger and try these fantastic buffalo blue cheese burgers made only with chicken! Grab yourself some patties from Whole Foods and fry them up! It is a great way to warm up to those summer grilling days!

Producing Mischief

Friday Night Fish Fry on Pewaukee Lake. This was taken a few weeks ago, but the memory lives on. As usual, I wore the highest of heels (open toed, mind you), and had to climb down a hill with the sister-in-law trying not to fall. The men left us high and dry to fend for ourselves down the hill (just kidding). Anywho, we had beautiful scenery, wonderful food and crowd! What a fun and relaxing way to spend with the fam.! Love you Pops, April, Dave and C!

I can't think of anything if red herrings are on the table

Must see movie! The Mr. and I had a date night on Friday! First, we went to Texas Roadhouse and pigged out. Then we went to the coolest movie house in Waukesha, and saw Coraline! You must see this magical movie! As a child if you ever thought the grass was greener, you would totally relate to this movie. I love that Coraline wears a rain slicker and wellies throughout the movie and loves her dad's garden! She wants to plant seeds! She also makes unlikely friends all around (sound like anyone else you know?). Too cute! It will make you hug and kiss your parents for not being your "other parents." You will know what I mean once you see it on the big screen!
