It has been a blast, but we are ready to come home. We spent our last day of our road trip in downtown Tacoma exploring. I found an adorable cupcake shop that had the yummiest cupcakes ever. It is called Hello Cupcake! We also went to the Glass Museum and saw artists creating original pieces. Quite a process. We ended our afternoon with Freedom Fest on the Puget Sound. There was an impressive air show by the Navy Aviators. We are going to nap, then off to dinner and fireworks. We fly home tomorrow.

Last Day!
It has been a blast, but we are ready to come home. We spent our last day of our road trip in downtown Tacoma exploring. I found an adorable cupcake shop that had the yummiest cupcakes ever. We Made It!
Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes. We made it to Washington safely! Barry wanted a taste of home, so Corey and I took him to Rocky's in Spokane. We also saw tons of dust tornadoes. I freaked out of course, but they are not powerful at all. No worries here. We are staying in Tacoma and will be celebrating the 4th on base at Ft. Lewis. It will be nice to celebrate with soldiers and their families. Blessings, and we love all of you!

Yellowstone

We had a great time in Yellowstone! It was a peaceful cell phone free, tv free, and computer free area. We had a little yellow cabin near the oldest hotel in Yellowstone, the Lake Hotel. It was built in 1889. We had bison grazing outside our cabin, and had a cafeteria style meal in a lodge down the road. The turkey stew was great! We capped off our evening with scrabble and wine in the Lake Hotel were a pianist played music. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and park while we played. The best part; families were playing board games, card games, talking and laughing. No t.v.'s or video games for these kids! It made me smile!

Teton Mountain Lodge

Hello from Teton Village in the Teton Mountains. The pictures of our resort are no where as beautiful as it is in person. The drive was absolutely stunning! We went for a day hike and had a beautiful view. The only bad parts were the warnings from staff and signs that sited that bears frequented the area. We polished our night off with Chinese food in Jackson Hole. We strolled downtown and sampled some interesting ice cream flavors: cabernet chocolate, margarita, and espresso. I read in a travel magazine that the locals are trying desperately to cling to the Old West feel in Jackson. Good luck! This town definitely can be compared to Aspen or even Wisconsin Dells. We couldn't even count the t-shirt shops downtown. P.S. Those pics of the cowgirl boots...yep! I bought them!
