Shabbat Shalom!

What is more fun than a Bat Mitzvah? Having a wine and champagne flight with a friend from high school! It was a beautiful day and getting some rays was just what we needed!

Shoe Shopping Vocabulary

Did you know that words like "wicked hot" and "wow factor" can be used to determine whether or not a pair of shoes should be purchased? Shoe shopping with Andrea and me is always an adventure! These souls (soles :) are great friends and share a passion for fashion!

Rainy Day in July

What do you do when it rains in July and you can't spend the day at the beach? Go out to lunch with someone you love! The Mr. and I enjoyed a romantic trip to the mall. I feasted on bacon cheeseburger pizza from Rocky's. Yum! Or as Fred Dawson would say, "Smack, smack!" There is no one else I would rather spend a rainy day with... :)

Here is a random picture from Fort Hood Texas a few years ago. Did you see this one already? It is Corey, Eve, and Barry!

Sue you are an amazing mom! I have no idea how you do it! Steve you are quite a character, and I see your personality in Beckett every time I hang out with him! Don't you love the picture of the proud grandpa? So cute! I have the best brothers in the world. Who would have thought that my brothers would become also my best friends? Love you guys!

Constant Gardener

Ah yes! That time of the year again! The garden is planted. This year I will be growing lettuce, watermelon, collards, mint leaves (for tea), strawberries (the ones that the mice will let us have), and sunflowers. The seeds are from my wedding shower a few years back. I know Henry, my guinea pig, will appreciate the greens! The gnome is busy watching the crop as we are away. A sneaky rabbit chewed an entrance and exit to the garden. You can see where Corey had to put wood in to cover the hole. If you would like to be a guest gardener, stop on over!

Birdies!!!

Look at all of the eagles that flew over to Birdies for lunch! This is the last Banking Day of the school year, so it will be our last trip as a staff to our favorite lunch spot. Of course, that does not rule out reunions over summer break! I loved my BLT with avocado on a croissant! Yummmmmy!

Mother's Day Spy!

We topped off our Mother's Day breakfast with a trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. After 3 hours of reading, listening, and being in awe of our creator, we headed over to our dinner reservations. When we arrived at the Safe House, we did not say the password quiet enough, so we had to make chicken noises and movements to gain entry. We had a fantastic feast of burgers, ribs, fries, and onion rings! A family that spies together...stays together :)!

Dinner and Dogs

We are Abby sitting this weekend while Steve and Sue are celebrating Mother's Day! Thinking of a yummy and quick dinner? Make kabobs! I sprinkled some Northwoods Seasoning (from Penzey's Spices) before the Mr. grilled them. Summer flavors in Spring! It makes me think of all of the fun outings there are in the summer at the local parks! Better dust off that picnic basket! Who is in?

Wario Fans Unite!

These pictures have been sitting in my photo file for awhile. Jen and Bill brought over an awesome game with the name Wario in it. Can't remember the name because the games were so fast, that my brain could not absorb the name! There was a lot of pressure in a short amount of time! My favorite was shaving the sheep! It was a blast. Thanks also for the cute earrings! Jen is on Etsy everyone! http://www.etsy.com/shop/duffyje

When I was making stuffed french toast for my gal pals at work I cracked the egg open and found twin yolks! What are the chances? Will it bring me good luck? Stay tuned!

Remember Me

Go see it! Loved it! Pierce Brosnan was amazing! It is hard to believe that he is playing a father! Totally cried when Robert Pattinson is reading Greek Myths to his sister. To all of my teacher friends out there...you will most def. appreciate one part in particular!!!! When the DVD comes out in June we will have a screening at the Tulledge Metroplex.

Drops of Jupiter

Do you remember that old song by Train, Drops of Jupiter? I was in Hartland today hanging out with my Dad, when I saw the 94West sign, and thought...why not? I headed West to the Outlet Mall. When in Rome! After window shopping and walking, I decided I need a little treat at the 2 Loons Cafe. I ordered a Chai Latte, with Soy...hence, the part of Drops of Jupiter..."Best Soy Latte." So friends, need a latte after a shopping excursion? Who thinks they should rename the Chai Latte to Drops of Jupiter? Maybe I will suggest that.

Welcome Newest Crew Member!

In honor of Amy and Ed's new arrival, here is a throw back to the Super Bowl/Baby Shower. Better late than never, right? On the plate you will find Josh's homemade Jalapeno poppers! Yum! There is a crew girls picture...notice the baby is still in the belly for Amy! Bun in the oven for KJ! Then there is a sweet family pic. on Dorothy's futon at casa de Kulke. Thanks again for the fun day and hosting the party. Congrats to Amy and Ed on your new family member! Lots of love! I am going to be forced to join Facebook just so I can see pictures of my friends!

chocolate covered cherry taste test

Mom T. bought several kinds of chocolate covered cherries. We had a taste test to see which one we liked better. The winner? Zachary brand. Do you like Queen Anne cherries the best? We didn't have them available. I am not a big chocolate person, so one of each was enough for me!

What are you reading?

I know you are saying to yourself, "I don't have time to read." Yes you do! Instead of watching 1 show, turn off the t.v. and read. What am I currently reading? Dorothy's loaner book that I have had for 2 years. I think Sofie or Erik's sister gave it to her. Anywho, it is called The Wonder Spot by Melissa Bank. It reminds me of my summer trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone! It was fun to read on the way to FDL this past weekend. Here is me reading it on Corey's grandmother's couch. Actually, I am not sure whose couch it is. It is at the farm. :)

Women's Murder Mystery Game

While we were having R&R in FondduLac last week, we tried out Mom T.'s present to herself, which involved hidden picture games. We played as a group, but it became increasing addicting as people kept getting "knocked off" and we were hot on the trail! The game involved human trafficing, a Chinese underground organization, mixing pretend chemicals, and finding clues. Corey and I solved the mystery...but you will have to ask him who done it! We spend over 4 hours playing the game! Oh my!

Candy Cane Lane

The Mr. heated up some hot cider and we hopped into the Tulledge vehicle with Mom T. and Jessica. We headed down to see the lights on Candy Cane Lane. What a fun block to live on! I know that these pictures do not do it justice, but it was a fun ride. Corey revoked my window privileges (by turning on the child safety feature), because I was shouting at some houses where there were no festive decorations. One spot I would love to see during the day is the Smurf village. It was not lit. Lalalalalalalalalala. Hope your holidays were great!
