Fall is here and nothing cheers up a gardener like hard work in the garden. The chair has retired to the porch for the winter and the pots are all packed away. What is new you ask? 100 bulbs! Thanks to Mom T. for being my trusty assistant! A variety of bulbs that bloom for 100 days all got planted over the weekend. While digging holes, we came across a few meaty slugs that were deep in the soil. I apparently interrupted their slumber for the Winter. Look for pictures of what is popping up in the new bulb flower garden in Spring! Oops, I apparently also threw in a picture of cute stubby carrots that are still growing in the vegetable garden. Want carrots? Come over and pull as many as you want!
